When to use

Use when: A single on/off choice in a form that takes effect on submit.
Avoid when: The setting takes effect immediately; use Switch.

Installation

bunx shelf add checkbox

The source lands in src/components/ui/checkbox.tsx, along with any Shelf items it builds on, and .shelf/lock.json records what was installed. It's yours to edit.
